Everything You Need to Know About Renting with Caroam.

You need a valid Indian Driving Licence (at least 1 year old), a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar or Passport), and the booking advance payment. For outstation trips, we may request an additional ID. International drivers must carry a valid International Driving Permit along with their home country licence.

Fuel is not included. You receive the car with a set fuel level and are expected to return it at the same level. This gives you full control over your fuel costs and lets us keep the base rental price as low as possible.

Simply enter your delivery address at the time of booking. Our team coordinates a delivery time with you and brings the car to your location anywhere within Chennai. Airport and railway station deliveries are available round the clock.

The security deposit ranges from ₹2,000 for hatchbacks to ₹7,000 for premium SUVs. It is 100% refundable and processed within 24 hours of the car being returned and verified. Deductions only apply for damage or excess kilometre charges, which are explained to you clearly before your trip.

Yes, outstation travel is permitted and encouraged. We ask for 24 hours' advance notice and a small outstation surcharge of ₹150/day. FASTag is active in all our cars for seamless toll payments throughout your journey.
